Song of Susannah (The Dark Tower, Book 6)
by Stephen King (Author), Darrel Anderson (Illustrator)

5 out of 5 starsI just got it..., June 8, 2004
Reviewer: Eric from El Sobrante, CA USA

...and so far it is good. Song of Susannah happens a couple of minutes after Wolves Of The Calla. Now in the beginning of the book, they are talking about going back to NYC. Now this time, Susannah is now in NYC in 1999! This is VERY UNFAMILAR to her which she is being controlled by Mia Daughter of none, and she is trying to have her chap. Now Roland, Jake, and Eddie decided to go after her. Also Donald Callahan is surprised to see that he is one of the lead characters in this book called Salem's Lot! He is also shocked that the book is fiction, but it mentions him in it! And also what happen in Salems' Lot. So far I have read the first 100 pages of the novel, and so far as I get deeper into it, I am hooked on it! I read it whenever I get the chance to, and this is definitely worth buying. Now the Tower closer.

Here are a couple books that compliment the works of Stephen King...

Stephen King's The Dark Tower: A Concordance, Vol. 1
by Robin Furth

5 out of 5 starsA must for a first time reader, or a long time Tower Junkie
Reviewer: Timothy A Davis from Illinois

I found this very helpful and quite thorough. Because there is so much back-story and history in MidWorld, it's nice to have a reference for the first four books. Others have claimed it is incomplete, and it is. But it is clearly stated that A Concordance Vol II is to be released following Book 7. I look forward to owning it as well. No fan of the Dark Tower should be without this book. Don't hesitate to buy it. My only hope is that the next volume includes a large section on how all of King's other works, book by book, relate to the Tower.

Revisiting Stephen King
by Sharon A. Russell

Editorial Reviews ~ Book Description
Having endured an initially frigid critical reception, personal struggles with addiction, and a mid-life accident that nearly killed him, Stephen King continues to reign as perhaps the most popular and prolific writer in America. This new edition of the critical companion includes an expanded biography and critical treatments of King's eight most recent works of fiction.
