Rose Petals

Rose petals falling
Like teardrops
To the sea.
Taking down with them
All sentiments
Of thee.
Hungry waves splashing
Swallow all memories;
Laughing and dancing
To my sad melody.
Mock the heartbroken!
Sting the love giver!
Throw your heart
Into the sea.
But whatever you do
Don't come crawling back
Because the waves
Have taken away
Your part of me.
