Sanctuary
You're my sanctuary
You're my place of rest
Whenever I'm lost
I can come to you in distress
You cradle me in your arms
And protect me from all harm
You're my sanctuary
And no one but you can ever see
That everything in my world
Is about to unfold
And when I release this pain onto you,
My love sanctuary,
When I cry these tears
That hold so much fear
You wipe them away
And even though they say
You have to be alone
You are the only one
Who can protect me from the evil
The evil inside myself
You're my sanctuary and I love you
And no matter what I do
You remain there, waiting
Helping, and I'm always here
