Sacred Love

My heart laid in a million pieces

Scattered by my feet...

It cut deeply.

I stood there in darkness,

Searching for what was broken.

All my words were hollow ghosts,

Coming back to haunt me.

As a bright beacon of light you came,

Seeing pass all trivialities.

You showed me words were sacred again.

You picked up the pieces,

And with your love I became whole,

Wholly in love with you.

The past just a whisper

nor a concern

Our pain was healed in each other

Our hope renewed

in each other we found ourselves

You an angel of mine own

Beautiful you are

My gaze drank deeply

I held you

Caressed you

Consumed you

Satin soft skin against my face

Contours I will love to explore, and know time, and time again

Frenzied yearning burning in each of us

Till we melt into each other

Knowing our most intimate of places

Writhing in uncontrollable passion

Lips as red are the crimson rose

A kiss to mark the beginning

An still our love grows.

Silky soft skin to hold in my arms at night

Sensuous promises beheld in your eyes

Your love and desire only for me

I taste you

I breathe you

You came into my life

Showed me true love is not dead.
