This is L.A.

This is my token song about L.A.

Here is the reason I wish I could pray,

So I could ask God to flood it away.

Wake up children!

We're still here today!

This is L.A. where I scream and I spit,

And I live among devils,

And walk in their sh**.

And I live among angels,

And I bite off their wings,

And I tear off their halos,

And I steal all their things.

This is L.A. where my life turned to flowers,

And I turned "super hero",

And I won super powers.

But then I was chained,

To the sky scraper towers,

And they plowed up my pride,

With their new bloody plows.

This is L.A. with it's Chinatown,

With it's Melrose, Watts Towers,

All faded and brown.

I'll fade here too,

In my grin and my gown.

And I'll laugh and I'll dance,

As it all crumbles down.

This is L.A.

There are no movie stars,

No people to save you in shiny white cars.

We all just get drunk,

In world famous bars.

We bleed all our wishes,

And store them in jars.
