I'm the Shade of the Future
for I am never here.
always I am coming closer
getting very near,
I am never in among you,
so me you should not fear.
I'm the Shade of the Present.
I'm here for a blink and gone.
No! You can not stop or shape me
for I will not stay that long.
I'll bide with you for but a second
and then I'm moving on.
I'm the Shade of the Past.
I was not the first,
but I will be last,
I am what you have to guide you
on your stumbling way.
for I am with each man forever
until his judgment day
So of the Shades remember this
and the solution will be clear.
the Future is what you must change
for the present is now here,
and the Past will come to haunt you,
if judgment day you fear.
