Sunrise in the West
I have always wanted to see the sun rise in the west.
Above the blue Pacific.
Backwards as it may be,
It is only a dream.
I wish I could be more specific,
But I am just sick of reality.
I was not very blessed.
~
From even before we were primitive,
The ocean was our Mother.
The Smiling Moon was our Brother.
We wished the impossible.
We looked at the stars,
Now we walk among them.
But why did
Mankind wish to fly?
Nonetheless,
Now we do.
Eternally wishing is the fate of man
Wishing to make Dreams come true.
I wish to sit with you,
and make the Sun Rise over the Pacific Blue.
Is it really all that impossible,
To turn the cold of Winter
turn into the Joys of Fall?
